It's December, Dahling...

The ghost of Lovey has returned in the form of my current writing voice. I was notified by a dear owner of a restaurant at the Commons, on South Lake Avenue, that there appears to be activities aplenty come December... dahling. So, put on your white gloves, your Jackie O's (large and paparazzi-ready), and hop into that convertible--top down, of course--and stroll on through that little quaint spot for some merriment. Don't forget your scarf, dahling. It may be a wee bit breezy.

Starting December 1, between 11:00 and 4:00, take advantage of a mini street faire inside that saucey little courtyard. Ooh... now I think I'm channeling Twiggy meets Jane Birkin. Where did I park my Mini?

Local high school choirs will "serenade" onlookers with the sounds of the season.

For the kiddies: Santa Claus will be on hand come Friday, December 21, ready to take complimentary pictures with the less bashful.

Choir performance schedule:
(Each group performs from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.)
- Dec. 7 – Marshall High School
- Dec. 14 - Blair High School
- Dec. 21 – Westridge High School.

Thanks to Green Street Restaurant's Bob Harrison for the heads up.
