I may be late in getting the word out about this, but I realize that many of my friends did not know about this Huntington policy update.
For non-members of the Huntington Library, Botanical Gardens & Art Collections, Free Thursday hopefuls must pre-order a free ticket by phone at 800-838-3006, or reserve online at www.huntington.org, in order to gain admission.
This is a new policy change, effective September 6, 2007, according to the Huntington, in order to control traffic on this very popular day. Reserving your free tickets are on a first come, first served basis, and the Huntington recommends at least one month lead time. Then, they mail out the paper tickets, so people will have to allow extra time for that, too.
Infants and toddlers need tickets as well!
