The Arroyo Seco Foundation is hosting a "bikeabout" and "walkabout" in the effort to form a route for a Gold Line extension.
Here's the description from the Foundation's Web page:
"This will be the second walkabout of Livable Places' Making the Connections project. Making the Connections is an urban design project that will propose ways to connect surrounding residents and workers to the Chinatown and Lincoln/Cypress Gold Line stations.
To gather ideas from the community, Livable Places is holding two
walkabouts and a bikeabout. At each event, residents will walk,
stroll, and bike the streets to report on what is and isn't working
for pedestrians and cyclists. These ideas will be used to create the
final plan for making connections to the Gold Line.
Please join us. *Child care provided*
If you would like to volunteer at any of these events contact Jennifer
Allen at jallen@livableplaces.org"
